Now in its 28th year, the tour provides a unique opportunity to learn about the creative processes, purchase directly from artists, and enjoy an engaging atmosphere surrounded by the beauty of the Sonoran Foothills. The Willo District encompasses Thomas and McDowell Roads from 1st to 7th Ave. Planned in the 1920s, it is one of Phoenix’s first historic suburbs. This year’s theme, Harmonizing History: Where Architecture and Melody Meet , invites visitors to tour ten beautifully preserved homes and a landmark firehouse museum, all while hopping on trolleys circulating through the neighborhood’s palm-lined streets.
